Bulls: Scottie Pippen scored 33 points, his highest output since Michael Jordan came out of retirement, and grabbed 13 rebounds to lead the banged up Bulls to a 108-88 win over the Los Angeles Lakers on Saturday. It was the Bulls' ninth consecutive win. . . . Jordan sprained the index finger on his right (shooting) hand in the first quarter and was 5-of-20 from the floor. . . . Dennis Rodman played with a calf injury.

Grizzlies: A day after ending its 19-game losing, Vancouver was back to its old self, losing to Golden State, 116-85, on Saturday night.

Hawks: Atlanta stopped a five-game home losing streak with a 95-86 victory over Denver on Saturday night.
