Robbery: A resident of the 4000 block of Lyndale Ave. was walking near her home Saturday when she was assaulted by a man who robbed her of a purse containing cash and property, all valued at $160.

Robbery: Two men, one with a large caliber handgun, robbed a resident of the 1500 block of Medford Road of $75 in the 1500 block of Harwood Road on Saturday.

Burglary: Someone entered a house in the 1300 block of E. Northern Parkway after breaking a basement window Saturday and stole Christmas gifts valued at $500.

Theft: Seven pairs of tennis shoes valued at nearly $300 were stolen from an apartment in the 6000 block of Amberwood Road on Saturday by someone who entered through a window.

Robbery: A resident of the 700 block of Springhill Ave. was in the 5700 block of Maplehill Road on Saturday when a gunman robbed him of his house and car keys.

Stolen car: A 1995 Toyota with tags CJF-252 was stolen Saturday from the 5700 block of Moravia Road.

Northwestern District

Robbery: Two men assaulted a woman Saturday in the 1200 block of Mondawmin Ave. and robbed her of a coat, cash, shoes and a jacket, all valued at more than $1,800.

Burglary: Someone entered a house in the 3000 block of W. Garrison Ave. yesterday and stole a 19-inch TV, a bed frame, mattress and inner spring, all valued at nearly $800.

Robbery: A 43-year-old resident of the 2400 block of Garrison Blvd. was in the 2800 block of Garrison Blvd. yesterday when a gunman robbed him of $10.

Stolen car: A 1986 Cadillac with vanity tags YGO0096 was stolen yesterday from the 3300 block of Olympia Ave.

Northern District

Stolen car: Police were seeking a maroon two-door 1987 Pontiac that was stolen Saturday from the 3700 block of Falls Road.

Western District

Officers assaulted/arrest: Nathaniel P. Johnson, 38, of the 800 block of W. Fayette St., was arrested Saturday and charged with assaulting his 29-year-old girlfriend allegedly by choking her with a telephone cord at the couple's home. During the arrest, the 6-foot-4-inch suspect who weighs 500 pounds, assaulted Officers John F. Keil, Michael J. Morey, Lynee Carter and Philip Sexton. Police said the man had to be restrained with leg irons around his arms and placed on a stretcher and that it took six officers and two medics to carry the man into a patrol wagon.

Robbery: A 22-year-old woman from the 1700 block of Presbury St. was walking in the 1700 block of Bruce St. on Saturday night when she was assaulted by a gunman who robbed her of $200.

Burglary: Someone entered a house in the 2900 block of Auchentoroly Terrace through a door yesterday morning and stole a microwave oven valued at more than $200.

Theft/arrest: A man was arrested Saturday when he attempted to leave the Farm Fresh store at Mondawmin Mall in the 2300 block of Liberty Heights Ave. without paying for 12 cans of tuna fish valued at nearly $25. The tuna was found hidden in the man's pockets by a store security officer.

Southwestern District

Assault: A resident of the 2500 block of McHenry St. was arguing with a neighbor Saturday when the other man struck him with his fists and an ax handle. The victim was treated at Bon Secours Hospital and released and was advised to seek a warrant for the other man's arrest.

White Marsh Precinct

Burglary: Jewelry and coins, all valued at more than $2,000, were stolen Saturday from a house in the 9500 block of Cross Road in Perry Hall by someone who entered through the front door.

Essex

Robbery: A 15-year-old boy was standing at Cockspur and Kingston roads in the Hawthorne section Saturday night when three youths, one with a handgun, robbed him of his jacket and pager, all valued at nearly $400.

Burglary: Someone entered the Head Start YMCA building in the 700 block of Back River Neck Road on Saturday through a side window. It was not immediately known if any property was taken.

Arson: A motor home was parked outside a house in the 1100 block of Tace Drive on Saturday night when someone set if ablaze, causing extensive damage.

Arson: Someone poured a flammable liquid onto the grilles of three cars parked in the 400 block of Eastern Blvd. over the weekend and set them on fire. It was not immediately known if the car fires were related to the motor home fire on Tace Drive.

North Point Precinct

Burglary: Three power saws valued at more than $1,000 were stolen Saturday by someone who entered a house in the 500 block of 47th St. through a rear storm door.

Towson Precinct

Burglary: Cash and computer equipment, all valued at more than $2,000, were stolen Saturday from a house in the 1400 block of E. Joppa Road by someone who entered through a rear door.

Burglary: Someone entered a storage shed in the 300 block of Linden Ave. Saturday and stole a multispeed bike of unknown value.

Robbery: A White Marsh man was walking toward his car parked in the 900 block of Dulaney Valley Road on Saturday when a man placed a hard object in his back and robbed him of cash, jewelry and other property, all valued at more than $300.

Robbery: Two men in their early 20s robbed a resident of the 5000 block of Harford Road of more than $100 Saturday while the victim was at Harford Road and East Avenue.

Robbery: Two men, one with a sawed-off shotgun, robbed the Royal Farm store in the 7200 block of York Road on Saturday of an undisclosed sum of money.

Parkville Precinct

Burglary: Christmas gifts valued at nearly $100 were stolen Saturday from a garage in the 3600 block of Hallmark Court by someone who forced the door.

Robbery: A gunman robbed the Giant market in the 100 block of Stemmers Run Road of an undisclosed sum of money Saturday night.
