Outlook: The Hawks had a rough beginning to the 1995-96 season, shooting 26 percent and losing to Butler on Saturday, 75-44. Butler jumped to a 15-2 lead, and UMES didn't get closer than 10 points after that. Aaron McKinney led UMES with 18 points. The Hawks were out-rebounded, 46-19. Fairleigh Dickinson was beaten by Rhode Island on Tuesday, 90-65. Reserve Kareen Thompson had 12 points, and Jemo King added 11 off the bench.
