Outlook: Either James Bond is behind the scenes calling the shots for these teams or someone has made a pact with the devil. The winner will be 7-4 and cruising toward the playoffs. The Falcons are 6-1 when the club rushes 20 or more times.
Stellino's pick: Falcons 24, Rams 23 -- Who would have guessed these two teams would be tied for first place with the 49ers in November?

Outlook: Little-known fact -- the Eagles have won five of their past six games, and Randall Cunningham continues to sit on the bench.

Line: Patriots by 3 1/2
Outlook: The Patriots go as rookie running back Curtis Martin goes. New England is 4-0 in games in which Martin tops 100 yards. OK, so the Colts rank No. 4 in the league in stopping the run and have not permitted a 100-yard rusher in 23 consecutive games. Eleven of the Colts' past 12 games have been decided by seven points or less.
Stellino's pick: Patriots 21, Colts 20 -- I guess those Cleveland fans weren't listening in 1984 when Bob Irsay went to Indianapolis and said, "It's not your team, it's my team."
Lions (4-6) at Bears (6-4)

Line: Bears by 3 1/2
Outlook: One of the top NFL stories of the year continues to be Bears quarterback Erik Kramer, who leads the league with 23 touchdown passes. Detroit's defense ranks No. 27 in trying to stop the pass.
Stellino's pick: Bears 24, Lions 17 -- The fat lady is warming up for Wayne Fontes.
Steelers (6-4) at Bengals (4-6)

Line: Steelers by 3 1/2
Outlook: The Bengals feature quarterback Jeff Blake, who has thrown a touchdown pass in every game this season. So much for that streak -- now the Bengals play the NFL's No. 2 defense against the pass.
Stellino's pick: Steelers 31, Bengals 17 -- Where's Kordell Stewart going to line up this week?
Cardinals (3-7) at Panthers (4-6)

Line: Panthers by 1
Outlook: The Cardinals can't catch a break; now they have to take on the mighty Panthers. Hey, everybody the Cardinals play this year is mighty. The Panthers have won two in a row at home.
Stellino's pick: Cardinals 21, Panthers 17 -- Maybe the Cardinals should bring back Joe Bugel, who has helped the Raiders go 8-2 this year.
Jaguars (3-7) at Buccaneers (5-5)

Line: Buccaneers by 7
Outlook: Jacksonville is 3-0 in games in which it scores first. Tampa ranks No. 28 on offense in the NFL, while Jacksonville stands at No. 29.
Stellino's pick: Buccaneers 24, Jaguars 21 -- If Baltimore had stolen the Bucs instead of the Browns, it wouldn't be getting this guilt trip around the country.

Outlook: Both expansion teams have won more games than the Jets, who try to regroup with Boomer Esiason returning as starting quarterback.
Stellino's pick: Bills 28, Jets 17 -- Esiason will be keeping an eye out for Bruce Smith.
Cowboys (8-2) at Raiders (8-2)

Line: Cowboys by 3
Outlook: San Francisco and Kansas City might present stronger cases at a later date, but this looks like this year's Super Bowl matchup in Phoenix. Dallas is 63-26 in the '90s with Troy Aikman as its starting quarterback. Jeff Hostetler is 26-14 as the Raiders' starting quarterback. The NFC has dominated the Super Bowl, but the Raiders will go 4-0 against the NFC -- for the first time since 1979 -- if they beat the Cowboys.
Stellino's pick: Cowboys 31, Raiders 21 -- Jerry Jones said last year that 500 guys could coach the Cowboys. Barry Switzer may not be one of them.
Chargers (4-6) at Broncos (5-5)

Line: Broncos by 3 1/2
Outlook: The Chargers have fallen apart and will be without running back Natrone Means (groin) again. Broncos quarterback John Elway says he's "fine" after injuring his shoulder and suffering a concussion last week. The Chargers' defense has allowed only four 100-yard rushers in the past 63 games.
Stellino's pick: Broncos 28, Chargers 20 -- If the Browns' move helps Denver get a new stadium, should Baltimore get a #F consultant's fee?
Saints (4-6) at Vikings (5-5)

Outlook: The Saints have won three in a row, four of their past five, and after allowing an average of 160 yards a game on the ground, they are now surrendering 82 in their past five games. Vikings kicker Fuad Reveiz has made 39 of his past 40 field-goal attempts from 45 yards or less.
Stellino's pick: Vikings 24, Saints 21 -- Warren Moon isn't counting, but he turned 39 Friday.
Oilers (4-6) at Chiefs (9-1)
Time: 8 p.m., ESPN
Line: Chiefs by 10
Outlook: The Oilers have signed papers to move to Nashville; do they now make like the Browns and collapse on the field? The Chiefs' defense has limited opposition in the past three games to seven points or less. Kansas City running back Marcus Allen needs 44 receiving yards to become the first player in NFL history to compile 10,000 rushing yards and 5,000 receiving yards.
Stellino's pick: Chiefs 24, Oilers 10 -- How will the Oilers (Fiddlers?) play as a lame duck?
