Nichols Bethel United Methodist women's group plans craft bazaar


THE UNITED METHODIST WOMEN of Nichols Bethel United Methodist Church will hold a Fall Craft Bazaar from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 18 at the church on Route 175. Tables can be rented for $10.

Donations of handmade items and baked goods are needed. Information: (410) 674-2272.

The United Methodist Men will sell grilled barbecue chicken dinners from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Dinners include half a chicken, baked beans and cole slaw for $5. Tickets may be purchased in advance or at the door.

Teen Night

The Odenton/Fort Meade Women's Aglow is inviting parents to bring their teens to the annual Teen Night at 6:30 p.m. Friday. Teens are invited to show their vocal, instrumental, dance or dramatic talents. Teens interested in performing can call Jean Ellis at (410) 551-8988.

The event will be held in the Jessup Community Hall on Route 175 and Wigley Road. The cost is $2.50.

Crofton Awards Banquet

Everyone is invited to the 1995 Crofton Awards Banquet, 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday at the Crofton Country Club, 1691 Crofton Parkway. Organizations presenting awards include the Arundel Volunteer Fire Department, Crofton Athletic Council, Crofton Civic Association, Greater Crofton Chamber of Commerce, Greater Crofton Council, Crofton Kiwanis and the Bowie Crofton Jaycees.

The cost is $20 per person. There will be music by Detour, dancing, food and prizes. Information: (410) 721-6310.

Musical Storytime

The Crofton Branch Library will hold Musical Storytime, starting at 7 p.m. Thursday at the library. Join Christine Allen from Kindermusik of Annapolis.

The event is for children ages 2 to 6.
