Harrison sets school records in Meade win


Roman Harrison rushed 30 times for 210 yards and four touchdowns and a two-point conversion, accounting for all but six team points as No. 15 Meade (7-1) shut out visiting Chesapeake-AA (2-5), 32-0, yesterday.

Harrison's career totals (193 carries, 1,370 yards and 17 touchdowns) are school records.

* St. Mary's 35, McDonogh 12: Rashi Reed rushed for two fourth-quarter touchdowns and 85 yards as visiting St. Mary's (5-3) defeated McDonogh (0-6).

Jamison Mullen had two interceptions for the Saints and caught a 30-yard touchdown pass from Ryan Metzbower, who threw for 207 yards on 10-for-21 passing.

* St. Paul's 54, Spalding 0: The No. 8 Crusaders (8-0) romped at Spalding (1-7), as Chris Berrier had 16 carries for 201 yards in under three quarters.

* Gilman 36, Calvert Hall 12: The host Greyhounds (1-6) won as Greg Plitt caught two touchdown passes and Chase Martin rushed for two scores.

* Loyola 19, City 8: Brant Hall had 114 yards rushing and scored as the visiting Dons (3-4) beat the Knights (4-4).
