4 teens accused of breaking into Savage home

Four teens were charged with breaking into a Savage home after a neighbor reported seeing people hauling off property and called police Tuesday night, Howard County police said.

Oanneau Elsworth Davis, 18, of Columbia and Johnathan Lee Northern, 18, whose address was unavailable, were being held at the Howard County Detention Center in Jessup on $5,000 bond each. Derek Dillman, 18, of Alexandria, Va., was released on an unsecured bond. The status of a 17-year-old male, whose address was also unavailable, was not disclosed under juvenile protection laws, a District Court commissioner said.

According to police, four people were seen carrying a television and other electronic equipment from a home in the 9300 block of Woodsedge Court about 7:10 p.m. Tuesday.

A witness called police and told them the four went into a nearby wooded area. Police said a car that the four apparently planned to use was on a street on the opposite side of the woods.

Officers found the four teens and the property deep in the wooded area, close to Horsham Drive, police said.
