Robbery: Three men, one with a handgun, robbed Metro Brokers in the first block of N. Eutaw St. of several watches yesterday. After entering the pawnshop, one of the men used a hammer to break a display case and steal watches. As the trio fled, an employee shot at them. Outside, police found a jacket with blood on it, but no bullet hole. Police believe the man who smashed the case cut himself.
Robbery: A couple was walking in the 400 block of St. Paul St. yesterday when a gunman robbed the woman of her purse containing cash and property of unknown value. The man was robbed of his wallet containing $80.
Robbery: Two men, one with a knife, robbed a man of his wallet and $20 in the first block of W. Madison St. yesterday.
Burglary/arrests: Two men were arrested Sunday after they entered a vacant building in the 800 block of Eutaw St. that is owned by Maryland General Hospital. A hospital security officer discovered the men, one 52 and the other 46, with burglary tools and a shopping cart.
Robbery: A man with a sawed-off shotgun robbed the Abbey Schaefer Hotel in the 700 block of St. Paul St. of more than $100 yesterday.
Burglary: A portable radio and cassette player, all valued at $200, were stolen yesterday from a physician's office in the 1000 block of N. Calvert St.
Burglary/arrest: Police arrested a 33-year-old woman inside a house in the 800 block of Jeffrey St. yesterday before she could leave with a television, videocassette recorder, clock, camera and clothing, all valued at $1,000. The woman told police she was taking the property to get money to pay a debt.
Robbery: A deliveryman for Pizza Boli's in the 300 block of W. 27th St. was making a delivery in the 1100 block of Gorsuch Ave. on Monday when a gunman robbed him of $110, two pizzas worth $22 and a heater bag worth $30.
Theft: A state lottery ticket machine containing at least 800 tickets was stolen Monday from the J & T market and deli in the 4300 block of Falls Road.
Theft/arrest: Police arrested a man Monday who tried to leave F & M Inc. in the 200 block of W. 29th St. without paying for six packs of cigars worth about $13.
Robbery: A man was in the 2500 block of Greenmount Ave. on Monday when two men, one with a handgun, robbed him of $123, two gold nugget rings valued at nearly $300, two gold bracelets, a wallet and a pager. Total value of the property was nearly $750.
Robbery: A man was in the 2800 block of Oakley Ave. on Monday when two other men, one with a revolver, robbed him of cash and property, all valued at more than $700.
Stolen car: A maroon 1991 Toyota with tags ALT 512 was stolen Monday in the 2900 block of Liberty Heights Ave.
Burglary: Property valued at more than $250 was stolen Monday from a house in the 4000 block of Fairview Ave.

Robbery: An Annapolis resident was in the 2900 block of Springhill Ave. on Monday when a gunman and his female accomplice robbed him of cash and property, all valued at dTC $1,000.
Robbery: An unarmed man robbed the 7-Eleven store in the 700 block of E. 25th St. of an undisclosed sum of money yesterday.
Burglary: Property valued at more than $300 was stolen Monday from a house in the 1000 block of Quantril Way.
Theft: Someone entered the front porch of a house in the 4400 block of Forestview Ave. on Monday and stole a 20-inch bike valued at $100.
Robbery: A resident of the 3600 block of Bonview Ave. was walking near her home Monday when a man stole her purse containing cash and property, all of unknown value.

Suspicious fire: Several fires were set inside a house in the 7100 block of Eastern Ave. yesterday. Three cats died in the basement. Police said two occupants escaped without injury. Police and fire investigators were probing the incident.
Burglary: An undisclosed sum of money was stolen yesterday from an office in the Family Crisis Center in the first block of Dunman Way.
Robbery: A gunman robbed the Royal Farm store in the 1600 block of W. Joppa Road of an undisclosed sum of money Monday.
