No. 15 Spalding serves up comeback to reach title match

No. 15 Archbishop Spalding capped a comeback-filled contest by scoring the final eight points of the match for a 15-12, 15-12, 15-13 victory over Seton Keough in a Catholic League tournament semifinal last night at the College of Notre Dame.

Second-seeded Spalding (10-4), which takes on No. 14 and top-seeded Catholic (15-1) in today's championship match at the College of Notre Dame at 4 p.m., scored the final six points of Game 1, the last five in Game 2 plus the final eight of the final game.

"[We] played with a lot of heart tonight," said Spalding coach Linda Taylor.

"They don't give up until the last point."
