The City of Annapolis has named a new finance director, M. Kathleen Sulick.
Ms. Sulick, who has worked for the city for seven years, will begin her new job Nov. 1. She is replacing William S. Tyler, who is retiring after 23 years as finance director.
Ms. Sulick, a certified public accountant, worked as a city budget analyst for six years and more recently as assistant director of budgeting.
An Annapolis native, she lives in the city with her husband, Joe.
Power Squadron to offer safe-boating course
The Annapolis Power Squadron will sponsor a safe-boating course beginning at 7:30 p.m. to day at Annapolis Middle School, Forest Drive.
The seven-week class will meet Wednesdays.
