Site: Sun Devil Stadium, Tempe, Ariz.
Time: 4 p.m.
TV/Radio: Chs. 45, 5/WLIF (101.9 FM)
Line: Cardinals by 2.
The series: The Redskins have a 62-38-2 lead in the series that dates to 1932 when the Redskins were in Boston and the Cardinals in Chicago. The Redskins won the first game this year, 27-7, but the Cardinals have won the last three at home and swept the series the last two years.
On the sidelines: Norv Turner of the Redskins is 5-17 (3-8 on the road) in his second season. Buddy Ryan is 9-13 in his second season in Arizona and 52-51-1 overall, including five years in Philadelphia.
What the Redskins have to do to win: Run Terry Allen (131 yards in the first game) against a Cardinals defense that is 30th in the league against the run, to take the pressure off QB Gus Frerotte, who's fighting to keep his job.
What the Cardinals have to do to win: Avoid getting fooled by the Redskins' reverses the way they did in the first game and run Garrison Hearst against a Redskins defense that is 27th against the rush and was shredded by the Eagles last week.
The outlook: This one figures to be much closer than the first game and could go down to the last team to have the ball, because neither is playing well on defense.
Stellino's pick: Redskins 21, Cardinals 17 -- Can Gus Frerotte play well enough to keep Heath Shuler on the bench?
