Shooting: A resident of the 3900 block of Kimble Road was arguing with another man in the 1100 block of Gleneagle Road on Tuesday when they got into a struggle during which the Kimble Road resident was shot in the left arm with a small-caliber handgun. He was treated at Good Samaritan Hospital.
Robbery: Two men, one with a handgun, robbed a resident of the 2900 block of N. Calvert St. of $52 in the 2900 block of Hargrove St. on Tuesday.
Burglary: A television, a videocassette recorder and videotapes, all valued at more than $400, were stolen Tuesday from a house in the 2900 block of Miles Ave.
Burglary/arrest: Police arrested a man who entered the rear office of the High's Dairy Store in the 6600 block of Belair Road on Tuesday and was taking money from a desk when an employee confronted him. The man fled with more than $200. Gregory Ivan Thomas of the 600 block of Mosher St., who was charged with burglary, was caught a short distance from the store.
Robbery try: A gunman tried to rob a man in the 2100 block of St. Cloud Road on Tuesday but fled when the victim cried out.
Robbery: Two men, one with a handgun, robbed a man of more than $100 Tuesday in the 6200 block of Frankford Ave.
Burglary: Electronic equipment valued at more than $1,000 was stolen Tuesday from a house in the 1200 block of E. Belvedere Ave.
Burglary: A fax machine and a telephone answering machine, all valued at more than $700, were stolen Tuesday from a storage shed at Harborview Construction Co. in the 6000 block of Radecke Ave.
Stolen car: A 1987 Chevrolet Cavalier with tags CBR 831 was stolen Tuesday in the 1300 block of Mason St.
Stolen car: A four-door 1994 Dodge Shadow with tags CRX 035 was stolen Tuesday in the 1000 block of Whitelock St.
Theft: Someone entered a 1995 Honda Accord that was parked in the 3300 block of Ayrdale Ave. yesterday and stole a cellular phone valued at $200.
Stolen car: A two-door black 1988 Acura Legend with tags ATV 575 was stolen yesterday from the 3300 block of Pinkney Road.
Burglary: A TV valued at $300 was stolen yesterday from a house in the 4500 block of Homer Ave.
Burglary: A 40-year-old resident of the 1400 block of N. Mount St. was watching television in his second-floor apartment Tuesday night when several men forced their way in, assaulted him and robbed him of $60.
Theft/arrest: Police arrested a 45-year-old man who tried to leave the McCrory's store in the 2400 block of Liberty Road on Tuesday without paying for hair rollers valued at $4.
Stolen car: A two-door gray 1992 Chevrolet with tags RBW 564 and owned by a Baltimore County woman was stolen Tuesday from the parking lot of Mondawmin Mall.
Burglary: Several pieces of furniture and a VCR, all valued at more than $700, were stolen Tuesday from a house in the first block of N. Bruce St.
Burglary: Someone entered a house in the first block of Bideford Court through a window Tuesday and stole $20 from a bedroom drawer.
Stolen car: A 1991 Honda Accord with tags 921 AXE was stolen Tuesday in the first block of Overmill Court.
Robbery try/arrest: Auxiliary Officer Thomas Brannon was about to enter the 7-Eleven store in the 1800 block of Woodlawn Drive last night when an armed man ran from the store. The officer radioed a description of the man and his direction of escape. In the 1800 block of Colmar Road, Officer James Kappes spotted a man fitting that description and arrested him without incident. A handgun was found nearby. Charged with attempted armed robbery and related offenses was Andre Venable, 19, of the 7900 block of Broadcloth Way in Columbia, Howard County.
Robbery: Two men robbed the Subway sandwich shop in the 2100 block of Gwynn Oak Ave. of an undisclosed sum of money Tuesday night. The pair drove off in a blue Nissan Sentra.
Burglary: A combination compact disc player and radio and a VCR, all valued at more than $400, were stolen yesterday from a house in the first block of Temons Court.
Burglary: An undisclosed sum of money was stolen Tuesday from an apartment in the 1600 block of Bluffdale Road.
North Point Precinct
Robbery: Police were seeking a man and woman who robbed the catalog section of J. C. Penney at Eastpoint Mall in the 7700 block of Eastern Blvd. of an undisclosed sum of money Tuesday. The man was armed with a sawed-off shotgun. The pair escaped in a Chevrolet Cavalier.
