Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore city and county.

Northern District

Robbery: Two Johns Hopkins University students were robbed Monday of cash and property, all valued at more than $450, in separate incidents several blocks apart. In the 2500 block of N. Charles St., a man who implied he was armed robbed a student of more than $400. In the 200 block of E. 32nd St., a man and his female accomplice robbed a student of a radio valued at $40. In that incident, the couple drove off in a gold-colored 1991 Subaru with tags CRS 120.

Burglary: A fax machine, a microwave oven, two phones, an adding machine, a videocassette recorder and tapes, all valued at more than $2,000, were stolen Monday from the L. A. Housing Program, a shelter for the homeless and handicapped, in the 2900 block of St. Paul St.

Robbery: Three men, one with a handgun, robbed a man of a pager valued at $38 in the 5100 block of York Road on Monday.

Stolen car: A 1989 Acura with Virginia tags ZTY 7328 was stolen Monday in the 5200 block of St. Albans Way.

Robbery: A deliveryman for Utz Potato Chip Co. Inc. of Hanover, Pa., was in the 200 block of W. 29th St. on Monday when a gunman robbed him of $100.

Northeastern District

Robbery: A man who implied he was armed with a handgun robbed the 7-Eleven store in the 2900 block of Harford Road of less than $50 Monday.

Burglary: Two handguns valued at $500 were stolen Monday from a house in the 2000 block of Belair Road.

Burglary: An undisclosed sum of money was stolen from Cafe Tattoo in the 4800 block of Belair Road on Monday.

Central District

Stolen van: A 1995 Plymouth van with tags 537599M was stolen Monday on Druid Hill Avenue near Laurens Street.

Southwestern District

Robbery/cutting: A 48-year-old resident of the 2900 block of Poplar Terrace was in the 3100 block of W. North Ave. yesterday when a man cut her on the face and the neck with a broken beer bottle and robbed her of more than $100. The woman was treated at Liberty Medical Center.

A 1988 Ford van with tags 04C425 was stolen yesterday in the 4500 block of Pen Lucy Road.

Western District

Police assaulted/arrest: Sgts. Joseph Smith and Michael Mancuso were approaching the driver of a stolen Dodge Caravan in the 900 block of N. Monroe St. on Monday night when pTC the driver sped off, nearly hitting the officers. When the van stopped a short distance away, the driver was caught but three passengers fled. Charged as a juvenile with assault with intent to murder was a 13-year-old resident of the 2400 block of Winchester St.

Southern District

Shooting: A 35-year-old resident of the 1300 block of Spelman Road was talking to two teen-age boys in the 3100 block of Cherryland Road Monday when one of them pulled a handgun and shot him in the abdomen, right arm and right elbow. The victim was in critical condition yesterday at Harbor Hospital Center.

Northwestern District

Robbery: A 59-year-old resident of the 5100 block of Pimlico Road was in the 5100 block of Park Heights Ave. on Monday when a man with a stick robbed him of $17.

Parkville Precinct:

Theft: At least 36 wire and cable spools valued at more than $4,000 and the property of Baltimore Gas and Electric Co. were stolen yesterday from a construction site at Sweet Air Road and Carroll Meadows Drive in Baldwin.

Garrison Precinct:

Robbery: A resident of the 3800 block of Buckingham Road in Lochearn was exiting her car in front of her home yesterday when a man who spoke with a lisp stole her purse containing a small sum of money.

Cockeysville Precinct

Burglary: Computer equipment and a telephone were stolen Monday from Chef's Expressions in the 9500 block of Deereco Road.

Stolen car: A 1986 Ford-350 van with tags 2R01952 was stolen Monday in the 19500 block of Old York Road.

Woodlawn Precinct

Robbery: A 30-year-old resident of the 3500 block of Beagle Lane was outside her home yesterday when two men, one with a handgun, robbed her of nearly $100.
