The Villages at Wellington

Talles Homes has opened a model of the Raleigh, one of eight single-family houses the firm is building at The Villages At Wellington in the Prince George's County area of Laurel.

A two-story transitional, the Raleigh has a beginning price of $258,000 and 3,092 square feet, including a finished lower level with a walkout to the rear yard.

An angled staircase and two coat closets are in the dual-level foyer with hardwood floor. Decorator columns set off the 12-by-13-foot living room and 11-by-13-foot dining room to the left and right of the entry.

Across the rear is a 12-by-10-foot library, 17-by-17-foot two-story family room with a stacked stone fireplace and a 19-by-12-foot kitchen with pantry. There is also a powder room, laundry room and two-car garage.

A 19-by-14-bedroom, his and her walk-in closets, and a bath with a soaking tub, dual vanities, linen closet and separate shower make up the master suite. There are three more bedrooms, a linen closet and full hall bath.

The finished portion of the basement has a 23-by-16-foot recreation room and a 13-by-11-foot den.

A brick-front rancher, the Chelsea, costs $243,900 for 2,612 square feet. This home has living and dining rooms that are 18 by 12 feet and a master suite with a 16-by-15-foot bedroom, walk-in closet and bath with a soaking tub and separate shower.

There is also a 10-by-14-foot den, second master suite, linen closet, foyer, laundry room, breakfast area, kitchen with cooking island and two-car garage.

A 28-by-16-foot recreation room and a 13-by-11-foot den are in the basement.

All homes at The Villages of Wellington come with nine-foot first-floor ceilings and 42-inch kitchen cabinets.

The sales office is open noon to 6 p.m. Friday through Wednesday, and by appointment on Thursday. Take Interstate 95 south to Route 198 east, to a right on Van Dusen, to a left on Cherry Lane, to the community on the right.

Stoney Beach has a waterfront boardwalk, pool and bathhouse, tennis courts and boat storage.
