Police probe death, injury in shooting


Police were seeking a motive yesterday for a double-shooting Thursday night in East Baltimore that left one man dead and another injured.

About 8 p.m., police found the body of Deshane Carter, 23, of the 1700 block of N. Broadway on the 2300 block of E. Madison St. He had been shot in the face and chest. Terry Stinney, 22, of the 2300 block of E. Madison St. was taken to Johns Hopkins Hospital by friends.
