Robbery: A Johns Hopkins Hospital employee was leaving work Wednesday and walking to her car parked in the 600 block of N. Collington Ave. when a man attempted to steal her purse. During a struggle for the purse, the man ripped a gold necklace valued at $200 from the woman's neck and fled.
Shootings: Police were seeking a gunman who shot two men in the 1600 block of Presbury St. on Wednesday night. One victim, a resident of the 1700 block of Ashburton St., was grazed in the left shoulder and treated at Maryland Shock Trauma Center. The other victim, whose address was unknown, was shot several times and was treated at Shock Trauma. After his release, he was arrested on a warrant in an unrelated incident.
Burglary/Arrest: Robbery:Robbery: An Annapolis resident was at a service station at Charles and 20th streets Wednesday when a gunman knocked him to the pavement and robbed him of cash and property, all valued at nearly $500.
Burglary: Computer equipment valued at $8,000 was stolen Wednesday from Ferrand & English Inc. in the 400 block of Lyman Ave.
Burglary/Arrest: Police entered a house in the 170 block of E. 35th St. Wednesday and arrested a man who had broken in through a window. Police said he caused $400 in damage.
Carjacking: A resident of the 1300 block of Wildwood Parkway was in the 5200 block of Park Heights Ave. Wednesday when she was forced from her 1987 Dodge truck by a man armed with a knife.
Robbery: An 81-year-old resident of the 4300 block of Pimlico Road was outside his apartment counting money Wednesday night when he was assaulted and robbed of $300 by two women he recognized.
Robbery: A gunman robbed the Revco pharmacy in the 5500 block of Park Heights Ave. yesterday morning of an undisclosed sum of money and the tape from a surveillance camera. He threatened to shoot an employee if the holdup alarm button was pressed.
Stolen taxicab: Diamond Cab No. 997 with tags 15891B was stolen yesterday in the 2800 block of Walbrook Ave.
Robbery: A 72-year-old resident of the 2800 block of Mulberry St. was in the 2900 block of Baker St. Wednesday night when a couple robbed him of $30 after asking him for a cigarette.
:Theft: A pager and $20 were stolen yesterday from a purse in a house in the 2400 block of Harriet Ave.
Stolen car: A 1995 Chevrolet Blazer with tags 7D1426M was stolen yesterday in the 1100 block of Covington St.
Robbery: A 23-year-old resident of the first block of N. Broadway was standing at East Fairmount Avenue and North Washington Street yesterday when a gunman robbed him of $100.
Purse Snatch: A man knocked a 55-year-old resident of the 100 block of N. Luzerne Ave. down as she walked in the 2300 block of E. Baltimore St. on Wednesday and stole her purse containing a small sum of money.
Burglary: Money was stolen yesterday from Mosaic Tile in the 5700 block of Erdman Ave. Entry was gained by breaking a window.
Arson: Arson in bathrooms on the first and second floors of Towson High School yesterday caused minor damage to the bathrooms and sent smoke into the hallways. No injuries were reported at the school in the first block of Cedar Ave., and the incident was being probed by police and fire investigators.
Stolen van: A 1994 Dodge Caravan with Massachusetts tags 910T0I was stolen yesterday in the 7200 block of Brookfalls Terrace.
Stolen car: A blue 1993 Ford Escort with tags DTX 516 was stolen yesterday in the 1400 block of Forest Park Ave.
