Eastern District
Shootings: Two men and a woman were shot yesterday afternoon by a gunman who approached them from behind in the 2000 block of Llewelyn Ave. The woman, a resident of the 1500 block of N. Bradford Ave., was shot in the ankle and refused treatment. The men, one from the 1500 block of Sheffield Road and the other from the 700 block of Mello Court, were treated at Johns Hopkins Hospital for leg wounds. No arrest had been made.
Burglary: Household items valued at more than $1,000 were stolen yesterday from a house in the 3300 block of E. Monument St.
Robbery: A 39-year-old resident of the 1300 block of N. Washington St. was in the 2000 block of E. Hoffman St. Tuesday when a gunman robbed him of more than $100.
Western District
Officer assaulted: Officer Phillip Sexton went to Bon Secours Hospital in the 2000 block of W. Baltimore St. Tuesday to investigate a report of a disorderly man. During the investigation, the man struck him in the face. Officer Sexton and a hospital security officer, who also had been attacked, subdued the man. Charged with assaulting a police officer is Charles E. Berkley, 21, of the 800 block of Allendale St. Officer Sexton was treated at Mercy Medical Center and released.
Stolen car: A gray 1985 Buick with tags ANG 438 was stolen Tuesday in the 1700 block of W. Fayette St.
Northern District
Stolen cars: A four-door gray 1987 Acura with tags YSK 638 and a red four-door 1991 Honda with tags CRS 265 were stolen Tuesday in the 2700 block of Loch Raven Road.
Burglary: Eight pagers valued at $400 were stolen Tuesday from Unique Paging Service in the 4600 block of York Road. Entry was gained by tossing a metal trash can through a glass front door.
Northeastern District
Shooting: A resident of the 1700 block of N. Collington Ave. was shot in theright side during an attempted robbery Tuesday in the 4300 block of Erdman Ave. The victim was treated at Johns Hopkins Hospital. The gunman and three accomplices fled.
Burglary: A videocassette recorder and a telephone, all valued at $600, were stolen Tuesday from a house in the 3600 block of Erdman Ave.
Robbery/Arrest: A resident of the 2700 block of Fenwick Ave. was walking near his home Tuesday when a gunman robbed him $40. Later, police arrested a suspect.
Northwestern District
Burglary: A fax machine, a telephone answering machine, a telephone and food were stolen yesterday from Nutrition America Corp. in the 5500 block of Reisterstown Road.
Southwestern District
Burglary: Two TVs with a combined value of more than $300 and 18 bars of soap were stolen Tuesday from a house in the 2000 block of Hollins St.
North Point Precinct
Burglary: Jewelry valued at more than $700 was stolen Tuesday from a house in the 6800 block of Roberts Ave.
Essex Precinct
Robbery: A man who implied he was armed with a handgun robbed the Royal Farm store in the 300 block of Back River Neck Road yesterday of an undisclosed sum of money.
Garrison Precinct
Stolen car: A four-door green 1994 Acura Legend with tags BVB 259 was stolen Tuesday in the 3300 block of Old Court Road.
Woodlawn Precinct
Stolen car: A 1991 Honda Accord with tags YRD 365 and valued at $12,000 was stolen yesterday in the first block of Swan Bridge Court.
Wilkens Precinct
Cutting: Police were seeking a man who attacked a resident of the 1000 block of Beechfield Ave. early yesterday near the victim's home and cut him on the chest and arm with a knife.
