Wilma Brown of Taneytown was recognized as a 1995 National Sales Award Winner at the annual convention of the Longaberger Co. in Columbus, Ohio.
In recognition of annual sales of more than $45,000, Ms. Brown received, among other gifts, an exclusive Longaberger basket. She was recognized as one of 249 associates nationwide achieving that level of sales.
In addition to the national recognition, Ms. Brown was awarded as one of the top achievers in the directorship with sales of over $54,000 for the fiscal year, having recruited four or more consultants in the past year, and for nearly 50 percent of her branch earning a basket for holding 50 or more shows.
Ms. Brown will represent her branch on an all-expense paid cruise to the Caribbean at the end of November.
The Longaberger Co. was founded in 1972 by Dave Longaberger, who began selling the hand-woven, hardwood maple baskets made by his father and his grandfather.
