Shooting: A 30-year-old resident of the 1300 block of N. Kenwood Ave. was in an alley off the 2600 block of E. Oliver St. yesterday when a gunman shot him at least six times in the chest and lower body. The victim was in critical condition at Johns Hopkins Hospital. No arrest had been made in the case and police knew of no motive.
Theft: Police were seeking two men who entered the Sun coin-operated laundry in the 2000 block of W. North Ave. on Monday and stole $200 in coins from washing and drying machines.
Theft: Someone stole $200 from a 1987 Nissan parked Monday in the 700 block of Washington Blvd.
Assaults: Police were seeking several youths in the beatings of two men in unrelated incidents. A resident of the 5200 block of Tramore Road was in the 1200 block of Gusryan St. on Monday when he was beaten with a chair and sticks by five youths. The victim refused medical treatment. A short time later, a 25-year-old resident of the 1600 block of Doolittle Road in Baltimore County was beaten about the head by several youths in the 1300 block of Drew St. That man was treated at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center for head lacerations.
Stolen Car: A 1993 Honda Accord with tags CBA 167 was stolen Monday in the 200 block of W. Lanvale St.
Carjacking: A motorist from the 3600 block of Clipper Road was in the 1400 block of Madison Ave. yesterday when he was assaulted by two men who stole his keys and drove off in his 1986 Toyota Corolla with tags CAX 499.
Robbery: A resident of the 5000 block of Sunset Road was riding his 26-inch10-speed bike in the 2400 block of W. Belvedere Ave. on Monday when a man grabbed him around the neck and stole the bike, valued at more than $200.
Stolen Car: A 1994 Dodge van with tags 663854M was stolen Monday in the 5500 block of Boxhill Lane.
Burglary: A typewriter and a fax machine, all valued at more than $1,000, were stolen yesterday from the Park-West Medical Center in the 3300 block of W. Belvedere Ave.
Robbery: Two gunmen robbed Shamrock Liquors in the 4200 block of Belair Road of more than $100 Monday.
