Two Glen Burnie men were arrested on narcotics charges Monday after officers found them driving an unregistered truck, police said.

Officers stopped the pickup truck at routes 170 and 32 in Odenton. As the passenger got out of the truck, he tried to kick one of the officers and threw a pipe and cigarette pack with 13 grams of marijuana, police said. The driver had a clear, plastic bag with 1.5 grams of marijuana, they said.

The driver, James S. McGahagan, 34, of the 300 block of King George Drive, was charged with traffic violations and possession of narcotics.

The passenger, David C. Joy, 34, of 8100 block of Phirne Road, was charged with possession of narcotics, possession of narcotics paraphernalia, assault and resisting arrest.
