Loyola women defeat Niagara, 3-0, register third consecutive shutout


Junior midfielder Cara Mooney scored once in each half and the Greyhounds' defense earned its third consecutive shutout as Loyola defeated Niagara, 3-0 ,in a Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference women's soccer game yesterday.

The Greyhounds (5-3-1) have not allowed a goal in 4 hours, 52 minutes of play. Loyola goalie Erin Gilroy made one save to keep the streak alive. Niagara fell to 0-3.
