Police arrest man on cocaine charge after drug sale

County police arrested a Glen Burnie man Tuesday and charged him with selling crack cocaine to two plainclothes officers.

The officers drove to Morris Hill Avenue and Warfield Road shortly after 10:45 p.m. and asked a man for drugs. The man told them he had to go into a house to get them, then told the officers to pull around the corner onto Evans Street, police said.

When the man returned several minutes later, he gave the officers a bag of what later tested positive for crack cocaine. Police arrested the man, searched him and found another bag of crack cocaine in his pocket.

Kevin William Alexander, 25, of the 100 block of Warfield Road in Glen Burnie was charged with distribution of cocaine.
