Investigators identify body of North Laurel fire victim

THE BALTIMORE SUN

The state fire marshal's office identified yesterday the body of a North Laurel woman who died in a weekend fire as that of Sharon Dawn Tama, 34.

Ms. Tama's body was found on the second floor of a three-story townhouse in the 9300 block of Canterbury Riding after the 4:57 a.m. fire Saturday. The owner and two guests escaped after a warning from a smoke detector, investigators said.

Investigators said the fire caused $130,000 in damage. The fire's origin has not been determined, fire officials said.
