Man accused of break-in at girlfriend's home

A 31-year-old Pasadena man was arrested Saturday on charges of burglarizing his girlfriend's home, county police said yesterday.

Gail Elaine Hoskins of the 5400 block of Wasena Ave. complained to police Friday that her boyfriend had been trying to get into her house, police said. An officer warned the man to stay away, police said, but Ms. Hoskins called them just after 12:30 a.m. Saturday to say he had forced open a ground floor window and entered the house while she watched.

While he was inside, the man knocked over a microwave oven stand, then fled through a back door. Nothing was taken, police said. The man was arrested about 11 p.m. Saturday after he returned to the house a third time, they said.

Ronald Paul Amon, 31, of the 8211 block of Bambridge Court in Pasadena was charged with third-degree burglary, trespassing and destruction of property.
