Man arrested in theft of steaks from grocery

County police arrested a Baltimore man Monday on charges of stealing $20 worth of steaks from a Basics food store in the 5600 block of Ritchie Highway in Brooklyn Park.

Police said a security guard saw the man in the store near the meat counter just before 5:30 p.m. The guard told police he watched the man stuff several steaks down his pants, and held him for police.

Warren F. Britt, 52, of the 100 block of W. Clement St. in Baltimore was charged him with theft.
