Masco Show Home welcomes public


The Masco Show Home, in collaboration with Better Homes and Gardens Special Interest Publications, will open its doors to the public from Saturday to Oct. 29 off Route 108 in Forest Glen.

Hours are from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily except Mondays. The $1.4 million, 8,500-square-foot, classic revival show house features the latest building and home furnishing products and design trends.

Admission is $12 on weekends and $10 weekdays. Proceeds will benefit three local charities.

Tickets are available through Ticketmaster at 481-SEAT or American National Bank offices.

* Oakland Mills: 9600 block of Basket Ring Road: A burglar opened a home's rear sliding-glass door while residents were away and took a television and a videocassette recorder Thursday or Friday, police said.
