Woman charged in boyfriend's assault

A Glen Burnie woman was charged Sunday morning with assaulting her boyfriend in retaliation after a domestic quarrel, county police said.

Eastern District officers went to the Greentree Exxon station in the 8000 block of Crain Highway about 3 a.m. to investigate a stabbing. They found a woman bleeding from several facial wounds. Police said the woman refused help from officers and paramedics.

About an hour later, police went to an apartment in the 8000 block of Long Branch Terrace and learned that the woman wanted to report that her boyfriend had stabbed her. Several minutes later, personnel from North Arundel Hospital called police and said David Lee Reeves, 35, of the 8000 block of Long Branch Terrace was in the emergency room with stab wounds to his hands and testicles, police said.

The officers took the woman to the hospital, where Mr. Reeves told them she attacked him in his sleep with a knife, police said.

Vivian Cassandra Loudermill, 38, of the same address as Mr. Reeves was charged with assault with intent to maim, and assault and battery.
