Hospital seeks help identifying photos

THE BALTIMORE SUN

Springfield Hospital Center is asking the public for help a second time in identifying old photographs taken at the facility. The project is for the hospital's centennial, to be celebrated next year.

"The first turnout was so successful that we decided to do it again," said Barbara Kelly, co-chairwoman of the Museum Committee. "We heard from people who weren't there who asked for another date, so it's back by popular demand."

Anyone with any connection to Springfield who thinks they may be able to identify old photos can come to the first floor of the Hubner Building between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Thursday.

The hospital is building a museum for photographs, tools, utensils, clothing and artifacts from the center.

Two additional dates to look at old photos will be for Aug. 24 and Sept. 14.

Information: 795-2100, Ext. 3218.
