Epilepsy Association to hold golf marathon

The Epilepsy Association of Maryland will have its golf marathon Aug. 7 at Piney Branch Golf and Country Club in Hampstead.

Participants are needed to play 100 holes of golf to raise money through pledges for the Epilepsy Association. The event is like a walk-a-thon, except golfers play 100 holes.

The 100 holes can be split by a team of two players. Play will be from dawn to dusk.

The event is limited to 40 players. The goal is for players to raise $25 per hole. Those who raise $27 or more per hole will win a trip for two to Hilton Head, S.C.

All proceeds will benefit the Epilepsy Association's family and children's services programs.
