John Nolte joins insurance agency

John Patrick Nolte recently joined Carroll County Insurance Agency as an account executive.

The agency, at 78 W. Main St., Westminster, is a branch of Frederick Underwriters Inc., and offers both personal and business insurance coverage.

Mr. Nolte, a Baltimore native, has more than three decades of experience in the insurance industry.

He began his career in 1959 working for United States Fidelity and Guaranty Co. in Baltimore.

As an account executive with Carroll County Insurance Agency, Mr. Nolte is responsible for overseeing a variety of personal and commercial accounts.

He is also the direct assistant to the branch manager and handles many of the day-to-day operations, including employee training and general branch management.

Brenda Boudreau heads regulatory group

Brenda Boudreau, compliance officer with Union National Bank in Westminster, has been elected as chairman of the Western Maryland Regulatory Conference.

Mrs. Boudreau, who lives in Hampstead, started at Union National in 1989 as an assistant auditor and has worked in the auditing and compliance field for more than five years.

The Western Maryland Regulatory Conference is made up of 16 banking compliance professionals from Carroll, Frederick, Allegany, Garrett and Washington counties.

This group meets regularly to discuss banking regulatory issues as they emerge, and share resources and to plan educational events.

Mrs. Boudreau will serve as chairman until June 1996.

Thomas See earns bankers certificate

Thomas F. See, chief financial officer of Union National Bank, recently earned his Certificate of Completion from the American Bankers Association, Stonier Graduate School of Banking.

Graduates are issued a diploma jointly by the American Bankers Association and the University of Delaware. Since the school's inception in 1935, more than 15,000 leading bankers from across the country have earned Stonier diplomas.
