BANK ROBBERY: Southern District -- An unarmed man robbed the Harbor Federal Savings Bank in the 100 block of E. Fort Ave. of an undisclosed sum of money Monday. After entering the bank about 12:30 p.m., the man covered his face with a piece of cloth and told a teller to give him all the loose money in her cash drawer. The man fled in a small red car driven by a second man.

ROBBERY: Northern District -- A 28-year-old resident of the 2800 block of Edgecombe Circle South was walking near her home yesterday when a man placed an unknown object into her back and robbed her of a purse containing cash and property, all valued at more than $1,000.

THEFT/ARREST: Northern District -- A homeless man was arrested yesterday after he broke into a 1981 Dodge van parked in the first block of W. 24th St. and stole a box of spark plugs, a spark plug tester and motor oil, all valued at $50.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- Someone entered Nick & Joan's, a variety store in the 1600 block of Union Ave., yesterday through the basement and stole property valued at more than $100.

STOLEN CAR: Northern District -- A 1991 Buick Skylark with tags TEJ 460 was stolen yesterday from the 4500 block of Underwood Road.

THEFT FROM AUTO: Northwestern District -- Someone entered a 1987 Acura Legend parked in the 5400 block of Park Heights Ave. and stole stereo radio equipment valued at $400.

BURGLARY: Northwestern District -- A wet-vacuum, battery charger, buffer and other property, all valued at $900, were stolen from a storage shed in the 5400 block of Park Heights Ave. yesterday.

SHOOTING: North Point Precinct -- An 18-year-old resident of the 300 block of Chestnut St. in Turners Station was standing in the 100 block of Oak St. near Main Street yesterday when a person in a passing car fired a shot at him, hitting him in the right hip. The victim was airlifted to the Maryland Shock Trauma Center. Police said the shooting appeared to be related to an earlier argument.

CREDIT CARD FRAUD/ARREST: North Point Precinct -- A 44-year-old city man was arrested yesterday when he attempted to purchase items at the Sears store at the Eastpoint Mall with a credit card stolen in a burglary in the 2200 block of E. Lombard St. the day before. The suspect, Leslie T. Stanton, of the 3000 block of Mathews St., was charged with theft and credit card fraud and was to appear at a bail hearing in District Court today.

SHOPLIFTING/ARREST: North Point Precinct -- An east Baltimore man was arrested yesterday when he attempted to leave the Sears store at the Eastpoint Mall in the 7800 block of Eastern Blvd. without paying for a pair of pants valued at $15.

ROBBERY: Cockeysville Precinct -- An 83-year-old woman was robbed of cash and property, all valued at more than $100, during a traffic accident yesterday. After her car was hit from behind by a 1988 Buick with tags CBX 473 at Lincoln Avenue and Nightingale Way, the woman got out and was was examining the damage when the driver of the other car reached into the woman's car and stole her purse. The woman attempted to stop the man, but was shoved aside. She was not injured.


THEFT FROM AUTO: Bel Air -- Someone entered a Ford Explorer parked in the 400 block of Birchwood Manor yesterday and stole a compact disc player and two discs, all valued at nearly $350.
