A Baltimore man was arrested on drug charges Wednesday night after a county police officer found 3.5 grams of suspected marijuana and a pipe in his car, officials said.
Officer Anthony H. Mills was at Furnace Branch Road and Country Club Drive, checking for speeders with his radar gun, when a 1989 Ford Escort ran a stop sign at the intersection at about 9:20 p.m., police said. Officer Mills stopped the car at Furnace Branch Road and Margate Drive.
He arrested the driver after learning the man's license had been suspended, police said. The patrolman reported he searched the car and found the pipe and the bag of suspected marijuana in the ash tray.
Domenico Fama, 23, of the 7900 block of Dalrose Ave., was charged with possession of marijuana and driving with a suspended license.
