HAGERSTOWN -- Mark Sievert (7-5) pitched six strong innings last night for his first victory since May 26 as the Hagerstown Suns ended the Greensboro Bats' seven-game winning streak, 3-2.
Sievert allowed one unearned run and six hits and struck out three.
The Suns ended a three-game losing streak despite committing a season-high six errors.
Rob Mummau scored the game's first run on a bases-loaded double-play grounder in the fourth.
Greensboro tied the score in the fifth with an unearned run. Hagerstown regained the lead in the bottom of the inning when Aurelio Llanos scored on Mike Strange's triple.
