* BURGLARY: Northeastern District -- Jewelry valued at more than $2,000 was stolen yesterday from a house in the 3600 block of Raymonn Ave. by someone who entered by breaking a window.

* THEFT FROM AUTO: Northeastern District -- Someone entered a 1990 Volkswagen parked on the lot of YLE Imported Cars in the 4900 block of Belair Road yesterday and stole stereo equipment valued at $300.

* SHOOTING: Eastern District -- A 15-year-old resident of the 4200 block of Hamilton Ave. was in the 900 block of N. Central Ave. yesterday when an unidentified man shot him in the thigh. The victim was treated at Johns Hopkins Hospital for a minor gunshot wound. Police knew of no motive for the shooting.

* SHOOTING: Eastern District -- Police were seeking a man who shot a 28-year-old man in the buttocks during an incident Tuesday in the 1200 block of E. Monument St. The victim, a resident of the 5500 block of Cedonia Ave., was treated at Johns Hopkins Hospital.

* STOLEN CAR: Eastern District -- A 4-door 1991 Toyota with tags BZN 571 was stolen yesterday from the 2000 block of E. Lafayette Ave.

* ROBBERY: Eastern District -- A 29-year-old resident of the 1400 block of N. Bethel St. was riding his bike in the 1200 block of N. Wolfe St. Tuesday when a gunman forced him off the bike and stole it. The bike was valued at about $200.

* BURGLARY: Northern District -- Someone entered a garage in the 2400 block of Rogers Ave. yesterday and stole a lawn mower valued at about $150.

* ROBBERY: Northern District -- A resident of the 2800 block of Virginia Ave. was walking near his home yesterday when two men, one with a handgun, robbed him of a set of keys, a pager, two bus passes, jewelry and a wallet.

* ROBBERY/SHOOTING: Northern District -- A resident of the 2300 block of N. Calvert St. was shot and robbed yesterday. The victim was walking in the 2400 block of St. Paul St. when the gunman approached and forced him to walk into an alley. When the victim tried to grab the weapon, it discharged, the bullet striking him in the right hand. The victim gave the gunman $20, a watch and his sweat shirt, all valued at $100. He was treated at Union Memorial Hospital and released.

* CARJACKING: Northwestern District -- Police were seeking a couple who forced a resident of the 4100 block of Fairview Ave. out of his 1989 Eagle Premier in the 3900 block of Park Heights Ave. yesterday and drove away. The vehicle's tags were unknown.

* ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- A resident of the 4000 block of Hayward Ave. was in the 5400 block of Reisterstown Road yesterday when a man approached her from the rear and stole her purse containing cash and property, all valued at $200.


* BURGLARY: North Point Precinct -- Someone entered a house in the 4200 block of Lynhurst Road through a rear door yesterday and stole a coin collection, a VCR and a compact disc player, all valued at more than $2,200.

* STOLEN TRUCK: North Point Precinct -- A 1990 Chevrolet pickup truck with tags 422428M was stolen yesterday from the 1900 block of Willow Road.

* ROBBERY TRY: Towson Precinct -- An unarmed man entered Pappas' liquors in the 1700 block of Taylor Ave. yesterday and ordered an employee to give him money from the cash register. Instead of turning over money, the employee picked up a bottle of beer and threw it at the man, hitting him. The man fled without taking any money.

* BURGLARY: Cockeysville Precinct -- Jewelry of unknown value was stolen from the bedroom of a house in the 1500 block of Glencoe Road yesterday by someone who entered through the door of an adjoining garage.

* BURGLARY: Cockeysville Precinct -- Someone entered the front porch of a house in the 1400 block of Charmuth Road Tuesday and stole a lawn mower and an edger, all valued at more than $500.
