* Clammers on Chesapeake Bay ended a two-day strike for more money from seafood packers. All but one of the packers agreed to pay $5 for each bushel of clams instead of $4. -- The Sun, Aug. 4, 1970.

* Some 800 nudists of the 10,000-member American Sunbathing Association gathered this week in Crownsville for their national convention. All newspaper and television photographers have been barred from the grounds. -- The Sun, Aug. 8, 1970.

* A new zoning ordinance adopted last week for Annapolis strengthens regulations designed to preserve the historic flavor of the city while still enabling business areas to keep pace with progress and growth.
