Brewers update

The Brewers rode a hot streak into Camden Yards in the beginning of May and took two of three from the Orioles. Milwaukee has cooled down in June (10-11) and has lost its last three in a row. Hit by injuries like the Orioles, the Brewers have four pitchers on the disabled list: Rule V draftee Jose Mercedes (elbow), Cal Eldred (Tommy John surgery), Bob Scanlon (elbow) and Jeff Bronkey (shoulder and hamstring). First baseman John Jaha (groin muscle) also is on the disabled list. Offensively, Kevin Seitzer (.355) is hot, and Greg Vaughn (.196, 7 HRs, 29 RBIs) is not. Vaughn has been in the designated hitter's spot because he is recovering from off-season rotator cuff surgery.
