June 28: It is certainly a pleasant thing to have the streets watered daily, and those who bear the expense of it deserve the thanks of the community.

July 1: The Battle of New Orleans and other performances, in honor of the memory of Ex-President Jackson, will be performed at the Front Street Theatre to-night.

June 25: The first completed of the row of twelve handsome houses now in the course of erection on Eutaw Place extended, above North Avenue and opposite the Gill estate, was last night illuminated from top to bottom and its conveniences exhibited by the builder, Mr. Jacob S. Rosenthal.

June 29: The Colored Manual Training School, on Fremont Street, between Pratt and Lombard, held its closing exercises last night in the school.

June 27: The ghost of an infamous and over publicized thug rises to plague us again in "Dillinger," at the Mayfair Theater. This Monogram photoplay is one of which the late, unlamented John would be proud.

June 29: William Bernard Denny, 30-year-old real estate dealer, yesterday was sentenced to five years in a Federal prison after he was convicted by a Federal Court jury of giving false statements to induction center doctors and conspiring to evade the draft.
