Old Bay offers a new look

If the spice of your life is Old Bay, why not flaunt it? You can have the familiar red, yellow and blue label on a baseball cap, a beach towel, an apron, a T-shirt, a soup mug, golf balls, playing cards and more than a dozen other items in the Old Bay Bounty from the Bay line of merchandise from McCormick & Co. Prices range from $7.99 for the three Pinnacle golf balls to $99.99 for a 20-quart, stainless steel stock pot.

For a copy of the merchandise brochure, call (800) 8-OLD BAY. For an initial order, you'll also get a free "Cooking With Old Bay" cookbook. Perhaps no food says summer better than potato salad, and recipes can't get much more traditional than this one from John Martin Taylor's "The New Southern Cookbook," out this month from Bantam Books. The book contains 199 other recipes ($27.95). Mr. Taylor, a cookbook author and bookstore owner in Charleston, S.C., collected the recipes from kitchens across the South -- from Louisville to New Orleans, from Richmond to Dallas.
