DRUG RAID: Southern District -- Armed with 18 felony indictments on drug distribution charges, police arrested 12 people in Brooklyn last night, most in the 800 and 900 blocks of Stoll St. Police confiscated three rifles and a handgun and seized an undetermined amount of drugs in the raid that began at 6:30 p.m. The arrests came after a three-month undercover investigation by the violent crimes task force and Southern District officers.
MURDER TRY/ARREST: Southern District -- During an argument between two men over a woman Wednesday night in the 3600 block of Fifth Ave. in Brooklyn, one man pulled out a large caliber handgun with a telescopic sight. When the other man tried to drive away, the gunman fired several shots, hitting a window of the truck. A police officer responding to another call saw a crowd, investigated and arrested Neill Haddaway, 51, of the 3600 block of Fifth Ave. He was charged with attempted murder, aggravated assault and handgun violations.
STOLEN CAR: Towson Precinct -- A 1993 Acura Legend with tags AWW 863 was stolen early Tuesday in the 2000 block of Masters Drive.
STOLEN VEHICLE: Cockeysville Precinct -- A red 1980 Suzuki-100 dirt bike valued at $500 was stolen between May 13 (( and last week in the 3300 block of Whitesworth Way in Phoenix.
