Harold J. Lusby, a retired Baltimore firefighter, died Saturday at a Columbus, Ohio, hospital of injuries he suffered when he fell from his bed at a nursing home. He was 91.

Mr. Lusby, who moved to Columbus from Gardenville slightly more than a year ago, retired in 1974 after nearly 40 years in the Fire Department. He had been a member of the local unit of the International Association of Fire Fighters.

A Mass of Christian burial for the Baltimore native will be offered at 9 a.m. tomorrow at St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church, 4414 Frankford Ave.

His wife, the former Edna M. Smith, died in 1990. He is survived by a daughter, Veronica White of Columbus; and three grandchildren.
