ROBBERY: Northeastern District -- A Rising Sun, Cecil County, man was in the 3100 block of Kentucky Ave. on Sunday when three men, one with a handgun, robbed him of $70.
THEFT: Northeastern District -- A 5-month-old pit bull with a chrome-plated collar and chain was stolen Sunday from the back yard of a house in the 5100 block of Groton Road.
THEFT FROM AUTO: Western District -- Books, magazines and clothing, all valued at more than $100, were stolen Sunday from a car parked in the 3000 block of Auchentoroly Terrace.
ARREST: Western District -- A 22-year-old man was arrested Saturday shortly after he fired a small-caliber semiautomatic handgun in Mondawmin Mall. No injuries were reported.
BURGLARY: Southwestern District -- Three videocassette recorders with a combined value of more than $1,000 were stolen Sunday from a house in the 4700 block of Melbourne Road.
BURGLARY: Southwestern District -- Five pairs of sunglasses valued at more than $200 were stolen during the weekend from Seahorse Pool Services in the first block of Stonecroft Road.
RAPE: Southwestern District -- The driver of a van was being sought in the rape of a 36-year-old woman Saturday on the campus of Southwestern High School in the 200 block of Font Hill Ave. The woman was walking in the 4600 block of Old Frederick Road when a motorist stopped and asked if she needed a ride. When the woman walked toward the car, the man pulled a handgun and ordered her into the vehicle. After arriving at the school, the man raped the woman at gunpoint and also threatened her with a knife. After the attack, the woman fled and notified police.
STOLEN CAR: Essex Precinct -- A green 1992 Ford Mustang with tags CDF 974, and valued at $10,500, was stolen Sunday in the 9900 block of Tailspin Lane.
