BURGLARY: Northeastern District -- A 27-inch TV valued at $1,000 was stolen from a house in the 1800 block of E. 33rd St. yesterday by someone who entered through a rear window.
THEFT: Northeastern District -- Someone stole a bike valued at ++ $110 from under the staircase of a house in the 2800 block of Montebello Terrace yesterday.
ROBBERY: Southwestern District -- A deliveryman for A-1 Pizza in the 100 block of Maiden Choice Lane was in the 2300 block of Wilkens Ave. yesterday when a gunman robbed him of more than $100.
SHOOTING: Northern District -- A 15-year-old resident of the 700 block of Belgian Ave. was walking in the 4700 block of Old York Road yesterday when someone fired at least two shots, hitting the victim in the lower back and grazing his chest. The youth was listed in good condition at Johns Hopkins Hospital.
BURGLARY: Northern District -- Someone entered the Wyman Park Gift Shop in the 3100 block of Wyman Park Drive yesterday and stole more than $400 from a cash register.
ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- A resident of the 5800 block of Narcissus Ave. was walking toward her home yesterday when a man with a knife robbed her of her purse and $26.
BURGLARY: Southwestern District -- Two men entered a house in the first block of N. Athol Ave. yesterday through the front door and stole two VCRs valued together at $400.
DRUG ARRESTS: White Marsh Precinct -- A three-month undercover drug operation at Fontana Village near the Golden Ring Mall resulted in the arrests yesterday of two adults and two juveniles on warrants charging them with various narcotic violations. The arrests occurred after residents of the apartment complex and its management complained to police of persons dealing in crack cocaine. Officer Joseph Michael said police posing as drug dealers made several controlled buys of crack cocaine in the community that were recorded on film. The adults, Antoine Tyreck Simmons, 18, of the 7500 block of Brushfield Court, and Giorgio Washington, 19, of the 8700 block of Fontana Lane, surrendered themselves at the precinct. Seven other people were being sought.
ROBBERY TRY: Edgewater -- Michael Jerome Morgan, 28, of the 1700 block of Judy Way, Edgewood, was walking in the Egdewater Shopping Center early yesterday morning when a man with a knife demanded his money. Morgan, who told police he holds a black belt in martial arts, struck the suspect several times with his hands, causing the man to fall to the ground and drop the knife. The suspect then fled.
