The Belair-Edison Housing Service is holding its third annual Community Open House from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, April 30, at 3412 Belair Road.

More than 75 homes with prices ranging from $50,000 to $80,000 will be open for viewing. Prospective buyers can get maps and information on the houses at the Belair-Edison Housing Service.

Home seekers will also have an opportunity to meet community residents, enjoy refreshments and receive a $75 coupon which can be applied toward the cost of their real estate appraisal. For more information call the Belair-Edison Housing Service at 485-8422.

Free booklet on credit offered by housing center

"Your Credit and You," a free booklet aimed at helping potential borrowers clear up credit problems that may be preventing them from qualifying for a home loan can be ordered from the Housing America Counseling Center in Pasadena, Calif.

The center is a free, educational public service of Countrywide Funding Corporation which has 330 offices across the U.S.

The Housing America Counseling Center offers customized budget plans and information on re-establishing credit and where to go to receive credit counseling.

"Your Credit and You" has information on how your credit is reported and maintained, address and telephone numbers of the three major credit bureaus, how to get a copy of your credit report, and when to dispute inaccurate information on your credit file. To order a booklet call (800) 577-3732.


* American Properties Inc. of Columbia has moved its headquarters from 10805 Hickory Ridge Road to the Amdahl Building at 10420 Little Patuxent Parkway. The new location will accommodate all API agents as well as the firm's New Home Marketing Group. Orion Homes I Corp., a subsidiary of Laurel-based Orion Construction Corp., recently increased its majority stake in American Properties by acquiring the shares of API founder Don Reuwer.

* Coldwell Banker Grempler Realty Inc. has been named to the Coldwell Banker Chairman's Circle for 1995.
