* THEFT: Northern District -- A resident of the 200 block of S. Spring Court was in the 400 block of E. 28th St. yesterday when a man stole her wallet containing a small sum of money and personal property.

* ASSAULT: Northern District -- Police were seeking a man who attacked a woman near her home in the 3600 block of Keswick Road yesterday and struck her in the face with his fist. The woman was not seriously injured.

* ASSAULT: Northern District -- A resident of the 300 block of E. 28th St. was assaulted by a man in her home yesterday. The woman was struck in the face but was not hospitalized. The man was being sought.

* ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- A resident of the 3700 block of Park Heights Ave. was in the 4800 block of Reisterstown Road yesterday when he was robbed of two watches, each of unknown value, by a man who placed an unknown object in his back.

* BURGLARY: Northwestern District -- Someone entered a house in the 2900 block of Allendale Road through the front door yesterday and stole a mountain bike valued at nearly $200.


* BURGLARY: White Marsh Precinct -- Someone entered a house in the 2100 block of Summit Ave. over the weekend and stole three diamond rings valued at more than $2,000 from a bedroom.

* BURGLARY: Parkville Precinct -- Stereo equipment valued at more than $200 was stolen from a house in the 3100 block of Northwind Road over the weekend by someone who entered through the front door. The suspect, who is known by the occupant of the house, was seen driving away in a red pickup truck.

* BURGLARY: Parkville Precinct -- Someone entered the home of deaf mutes on Rader Court through an unlocked rear sliding glass door over the weekend and stole a video camera, a purse and its contents, all valued at more than $900.

* CAB HOLDUP: Northeastern District -- A driver for Overlea cab was in the 5200 block of Hamilton Ave. yesterday morning when a man waved him down. When the cabbie told the man he couldn't pick him up because he was on the way to the garage, the man implied he had a gun and robbed him of nearly $200.
