To improve coverage of personal finance issues, The Sun's Business section beginning today will include copies of Bloomberg Personal, a monthly personal finance magazine published by Bloomberg L.P.
The magazine, which started publishing last fall, is designed to help "family-decision makers understand and reach important conclusions about their money," according to Bloomberg.
The April issue, which is inserted in most of today's home-delivered editions, includes articles on avoiding problems during construction of a new home; dealing with a community association; fixing up a house to sell; and investing in the real estate industry.
Other articles include retirement advice from the head of the largest pension fund in the country, buying into mutual funds, and taking tax deductions for charitable contributions.
Bloomberg L.P. provides financial information to newspapers, investment companies and other businesses through a wire service, computer service, New York radio station and satellite system.
For more information about the magazine, readers may call Bloomberg Personal at (609) 279-4534 or send e-mail to personaloomberg.com.
