A 16-year-old Pimlico-area boy was shot to death last night at the corner of Brunt and Presstman streets and police knew of no motive for the slaying and had no suspect in custody.

Central District police responding to a report of a shooting in the 1900 block of Brunt St. about 9:40 p.m. found the victim, Tyrone Lee, of the 2600 block of Violet Ave., lying in the intersection and bleeding from multiple gunshot wounds to the upper torso.

Police said the teen-ager was transported by ambulance to the Maryland Shock Trauma Center, where he was pronounced dead at 10:18 p.m.

Several people who were in the area at the time of the shooting were interviewed by uniformed police and homicide detectives but none was able to provide information that may lead to a suspect or a motive.
