Having just gotten back from vacation, I've read a lot. . . . Maya Angelou's 'I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings' is a tremendous voice on the traumas of growing up black - Rodger Kamenetz's 'The Jew in the Lotus' is the facinating story of the meeting with the Dalai Lama and Jewish scholars and rabbis in Dharamsala - and 'Tough Customers' by Richard Rabikoff is a very nice book. The reason I go away is to read.
