Inspired by temperatures far too perfect for the unpredictable month of March, Mother Nature shed her patent leather high-tops, hiked up her gingham skirt and cavorted among the crocuses, providing gleeful residents with a rosy preview of things to come. I call it her Spring Tease.

Foreign language students studying French at Severna Park Middle School will be able to practice with the pros when 25 students and their teachers from Buc, France, near Versailles, arrive April 10 for a three-week stay.
The French students will be introduced during a schoolwide assembly April 12. By the time they attend a farewell pizza party and concert at the school at 7 p.m. April 25, they will have become, no doubt, very Americanized. They return home April 28.
The French club is selling pizza kits, dessert kits and bread sticks until March 20 to help finance its activities. Information: 647-7900.

Thanks to the fund-raising efforts of sports boosters, parents, alumni, and community leaders and friends, Archbishop Spalding High School will dedicate its new athletic complex at 10:30 a.m. March 25.

The nonprofit organization that provides a network for mothers of all ages to meet each other and share information about rearing children. It also provides an outlet for artisans and sponsors trips and social functions.
