Driver charged with drug possession

A Pasadena man was arrested on drug charges Monday morning after an officer found three bags of marijuana and pipes in his car, county police said.

Officer William Selander stopped a 1991 Honda for speeding shortly after 1 a.m. near Route 10 and Baltimore-Annapolis Boulevard.

Officer Selander said he could smell the odor of burned marijuana on the car's driver.

The driver agreed to let Officer Selander search his car.

The patrolman found the marijuana, pipes and a canister used to store marijuana, police said.

Eric Bradley Nilsen, 20, of the 1500 block of Marco Drive, was charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia and cited for speeding, police said.
