But in a game that was by no means textbook, No. 2 seed Towson State defeated seventh-seeded Liberty, 77-69, last night the quarterfinals of the women's Big South tournament at Radford University.
After cutting the deficit to 68-65 with 2:42 seconds remaining, Liberty (7-20) got no closer.
Tucker hit three of four free throws in the final 35 seconds to provide the final margin of victory.
E9 Tucker led Towson (15-12) with a game-high 21 points.
